They serving great food and delicous cocktails during you watch the wonderful sunrise. Also you can stay in the small, but very clean and cheap, room. It have also a amazing view to the ocean. Also they have possibilities for Backpackers to sleep. The price for a night starts at 5,- $ per person. The El Mundo Bar rents Surf boards, boogie boards or organize great boat trips for you.

The Playa Las Lajas doesn`t have rocks or anything else to disturb your first learning hours. This beach has only sand and very smooth access to the ocean.

Access
The Playa Las Lajas (also known as Las Lajas Beach) is very easy accessible by Car, Bus or by Plane. From the International Airport of David you can reach the Playa Las Lajas in one hour. This beach of Panama is located very close to the Panamericana from there you can reach the beach of Las Lajas, on the complete new road, in 15 min. Every Bus, that drives through the Panamericana, stops at the cruce of San Felix. From there you need only to take a Taxi or to contact your local home to get a pick up.

Chiriqui has a size of 6,476.2 km², with a population of 412,190 people occupying 87,509 houses as of the year 2007.
David is the capital of the province of Chiriqui and has an estimated population of 124,500 inhabitants as confirmed in 2005.
Until the arrival of Spaniards, Chiriquí was populated by a number of indigenous tribes, known collectively as guaymies. These tribes include changuinas, zurias, boquerones, buricas, doraces, bugabas, and gualacas.
Also the tallest mountain (3.474 meters) of Panama, known as the Volcan Baru, is located in Chiriqui.
